Is there a benefit to searching for pet supplies online as opposed to going to the store?
Looking into local pet rescues is a good place to start if you are searching for a pet. If you know what kind of pet you want, you can start looking at the shelters to see if they have that kind of animal. If you are looking for a dog, but don’t know what breed you want, you may want to do a lot of research on different breeds. Narrow it down to a few different breeds that you like, and then keep an eye out for these breeds. Keep in mind that mixed-breed puppies are also dropped at shelters and make great dogs.
The main benefit is that you may find things online that you can’t get in the store. Stores cannot carry everything, and you may really like some of items they don’t carry. Another plus to shopping online is that you don’t have to go to the store. Your pet supplies are delivered right to you!
What size of dog collar should I get for my dog?
Well, the first thing to keep in mind is that you will have to buy multiple collars over a dog’s lifetime if you are getting it as a puppy. Another thing to think of is the size of your dog. Obviously, the collar has to fit around their neck and not be too tight. It also cannot be able to slide over their head if they pull against it. Also take the strength of your dog into consideration. If you have a very strong breed you will want to get them a thick collar with a very sturdy closure regardless of their physical stature. This will make it less likely that they will be able to break it.
